{Sunday, December 7, 2008 . Stories of Armour}

Suppose to book out on Friday.
But end up booking out today because both my buddies were sick and cannot do guard duty.
So I covered up for them by burning my weekend.
I miss out a lot of things.
Cannot go out with my dear and friends.
But doing the guard duty wasnt that bad after all.
This time round, I am doing as a Prowler.
Walking around the camp area.
PATROLLING!!

I have a great partner by my side who can chit chat with me during prowling.
3 dogs which follow us throughout the prowling route.
Our guard commander told us not to follow the dogs at night because it means something.
So at night we took another route that the dogs will not follow.
This time doing guard duty was very happening.
We walk halfway at night at around 11plus.
We heard sound from one building.
Sound was like someone prying something open.
We inform guard commander and they immediately came to find us.
We turn on search light and the sound was gone.

We also heard Malay music in the middle of the night outside the fences.
This camp consist only of Chinese and Indian.
No malay inside this camp.
But why was there Malay music?
Illegal Immigrants from other countries singing malay songs outside the camp.(Outside my camp was all forest)
We inform the police to catch them.

We end our shift and return back to guard room.
We saw a list of soldiers who AWOL (Absences Without Official Leave)
In Mandarin is 逃兵.

Mostly chinese guys were the ones AWOL.

Time flies, next shift again.
This time round we walk slowly.
But after we walk past the vehicle shed.
The alarm suddenly went off.
Ringing and ringing and ringing.
We inform guard commander again.
After that, we realise that it was a personel mending the vehicle shed trip the alarm accidentally.

We were all tired, as for me, I did not sleep throughout the night.
Return weapon and book out immediately.

As for ghost stories in my camp.
I will blog it once I knew any of them.

Lastly, although my bday was over.
But I still would wish that my dear will recover fully soon.
No more medicine for her!!!
