Here are some proverbs my sergeant use to encourage us when we are shagged.

1) Extreme Pain is Extreme Good
2) As long you don't mind, it does not matter
3) As long it does not kill you, it is good for you
4) Pain makes you stronger

But I still like the proverb that is displayed at the SAF Ferry Terminal.
It show a NS man(botak already) putting his hand on his girlfriend' face.
Both of them are sad.
But the proverb said that:
"BMT is not what you leave behind, it is leaving to protect"

Well, this sentence inspire me a lot.
I am not leaving any of my love ones.
Just leaving to protect them.
