For all older generation, if all have remembered, there used to have an abandoned block of flats in Chinatown, which for whatever reasons the construction to remove it was put on hold. Thus only the windows and doors are nailed with wooden planks.

On a bright sunny day itself, any individual who looked at the building from afar would also feel the bone chilling atmosphere it emits. Thus staying away from it, avoiding any possible eye contacts with it.

However, this 6 teenagers, in their sec school days, was the time where curiosity is in their priority rather than rationale. Thus with one of them suggesting a tour into the abandon flat and everyone agreed.

Upon 11 at night, the leader, Tecky, leads them through the hole left by previous "ghostbusting" groups, with only torches with them, they carefully make their up the stairs shinning the path ahead of them.

Occasionally, they found bits and pieces of burnt joss papers.. but they merely dismissed the possibility of true reasons but joked of the effects it gave them as they move up to 7th floor and they heard a creeking of planks.
